They learn so much during these classes. Engineering, physics, experimental design, testing, and redesign all comes into play. At the end of class, they discuss what worked well, what could have worked better, which design worked the best, how would they do it different next time. The kids aren't afraid to make mistakes or try new things. Some designs that look like they would not work, work better than others. It is wonderful to see them not afraid to think outside the box.
